I’m so, so, so happy that I can report that my new laptop, a brand new iMac, has had some lag. That’s right, it has been taking me a while to load up YouTube videos. I’ve been hitting the pause button so many times I thought I was going completely nuts. But this has been very manageable, especially if you have an SSD.
If you’ve experienced lag on youtube, it is usually caused by video players, but that’s not the only reason. Videos that are being played on your internet connection can also be causing lag. YouTube has a number of measures that can be implemented to help reduce the lag, but my theory is that it’s because of the way YouTube is designed.
While YouTube is primarily designed to play videos, this can lead to lag. But there are other reasons why video playback can be extremely laggy. If the player isn’t in sync with the source, the video is rendered at a different point on the screen depending on the resolution of the computer. Youtube’s solution to this is to make sure they always run in the the same screen resolution, or at least the same as the source.
But, as I said, I have no real solid proof, so I can’t really know for sure. I just know that my YouTube videos are always in the same resolution as my computer, which is why I know that my videos are always in sync.
If I were to make this work, it would definitely not be on youtube, but on the web as well. In other words, I would need to build a custom site for each and every video, which is a bit of a pain in the ass because I would have to keep track of all of the sites I need to link to.
Youtube doesn’t have a “lagg” setting, so if you’re trying to watch your videos at a resolution that your computer doesn’t support you’ll have to use the web player instead. If you have better video settings on your computer, you can still use them, but you’ll have to figure something out for getting them to play your videos at the desired resolution.
It may sound like it would be a hassle, but the video I linked above to, is actually playable on any supported computer. The one problem is if you have a high-res monitor, but your computer is on a low-res one, it will not be able to play your video.
Youtube’s video player is not optimized for high-resolution monitors, but that’s kind of the point. It’s probably still best to play your videos with a high-res display.
The most important thing to note here is that I have to do some research on a few things to figure out the best way to fix the lag problem. For example with the new video game The Game of Thrones, I have to go to the Game of Thrones party and play the game for about an hour. It’s definitely a good idea to leave the game for a short time, after which you can re-play it later.
The lag problem in question is in the game The Game of Thrones. We tested it on five different hardware setups and all of them experienced the lag problem. When this happens, you can usually just stop the game and restart it. But it is still a problem, and it still hasn’t been figured out.
