For years I’ve been at times of my life, most of my workouts have been in the gym…and I’ve had a few abs on that list. I was always like, “WOW, I have abs!” until recently. I’ve been working on my abs…and it just wasn’t happening. I wanted to break the habit of getting in the gym with the same mindset every day.
Ive been training for a while, and Ive noticed that I am not the only one who feels the same way. As you might guess, the people who train and workout the most usually get the least benefit out of it. I love the idea of a workout that is so good it gets people to start believing it.
I think that’s the most important aspect of your gym routine, is that youre in it to be in it. It doesnt matter how much youre out of breath youre not going to finish your workout if youre going to do it. Ive been training, Ive been taking it easy, and Ive been going to the gym.
I think some people are just going to workout more then they used to. Sure, they’ll get more out of it, but I think that’s mainly due to a new generation of workout junkies who have found a new way to get more out of it.
I feel like a lot of people who don’t like to workout don’t like to change their routine. They dont like to change the way they work out. They feel like they have to be perfect. In my experience, when people don’t like to change their routine, they usually end up doing it wrong. This means that they get bored, they get injured, they skip workouts, they end up not putting in the work they should.
this is why I feel like I have to have a personal trainer on my team. It just shows that when you start doing things wrong, you end up doing them wrong and you end up not getting anything out of them. And you end up not doing the things that you should be doing.
This has been my experience too. I went to an all-time great workout at the gym, but for some reason I didn’t feel it was my best work out. I ended up skipping it and did it with no purpose. I went to the gym and did my bodyweight exercises that I started but never really felt great about, but I ended up doing them anyway.
Sometimes it’s our habits, routines, impulses, and reactions that hold us back when we start living a healthy lifestyle. It’s those habits, routines, impulses, and reactions that keep us from taking care of ourselves.
The habits, routines, impulses, and reactions that we use to stay in check are the ones that let us live a healthy lifestyle.
I am guilty of this myself. Many of my habits and routines are more about what I wear than what I want to get done. I have a habit of not taking the time to wash my hair, and I’m working on making an effort to take the time to keep my skin looking good. But even if I stop eating right, exercising, and doing the things I don’t enjoy doing, I still have habits and routines.
