I’m a huge fan of mobile technology. I think that technology always has the potential to impact the way we live our lives however, the use of smartphones and tablets has certainly made this possible. But while technology has definitely changed the way we live, it has also made us all a lot more self-aware. We are now able to easily take photographs of ourselves and share them with the world.
Snapchat on the other hand is an app that I use every day in order to keep in touch with my family. It has become such a common part of our day to day lives that it has become a sort of ‘first class citizen.’ I would say that it is a very common thing that people do every day. Whether it’s an email, text, or a snapchat, we are all constantly using these apps.
Even when we’re not doing something, we’re using these apps. Now that these apps have become so common, we just have to ask ourselves how we can get more of them. We’re not there yet. However, we have been seeing a lot of interesting developments in this space recently. One of the first things I noticed about snapchat on my android phone was that it is very small. The size of the photo I took is usually much more than that.
We have also been seeing a lot of innovation in snapchat recently. A lot of the app has been designed to be snap-friendly (to make it look the same as other apps) and is very intuitive to use. It was very easy to swipe to the right to switch between photos, to see a list of the last few snapchats you’ve been involved in, and to send a message. For a phone, it does the job just fine.
I think that snapchat on my android phone is a very good example as to how the service can be improved. The original snap-chat app was extremely primitive. It was hard to scroll through all the photos with no scrolling and no ability to take a photo by swiping up and down or right-clicking. These days, the app has gotten so much better. There are now ways to add swipe gestures to snapchat.
The problem now is that snapchat is so easy to use, and it is so much easier to add swipe actions than to build the user interface for the original app.
