search google photos by size makes it easier to find images that I think are amazing. I usually start with my most recent image, and then go through the large image search, the medium size search, and the small size search.
Sure, it’s not the most obvious way to search these things, but if you find a great image that you’d love to buy, it’s very easy to find it. The only other time I had to search for something had to do with a “good” print that a friend was giving me that didn’t have a price on it, which really was a pain.
While size is certainly a factor in finding images, I’d like to see more search options for this. What about searching by location or other attributes? For example, I love the “featured images” option.
You can search the entire Flickr site for photos that are around 1.75″ x 3.5″ or smaller (that means you can search for photos that are 1.75″ x 3.5″ on the main Flickr site). Or you can search by location (which is a much easier way to search them all) or by keyword. This is a good way to search for an image that you may like in a very specific location of a place that may not have many photos.
A similar feature is also available on Flickr. These options allow you to search for photos by location and other attributes like size.

The search by location is the most popular. When we were testing Flickr, we noticed that the search results were often full of people who had a photo from a place we’d never heard of, but we now understand that they were using the Flickr search by location feature.
It’s very interesting to see how different locations perform in search. For example, we had a lot of photos of this girl from San Antonio who has this great hair and blue eyes. If we search for her in San Antonio, the search results tend to be full of the same photos but with a different location. Some photos don’t even get shown and it’s like the search isn’t looking at the whole photo.
