I often wonder what it would be like to be so perfectly content. Imagine the thrill of waking up to the sun streaming in your window every morning, the wonder of knowing that your children are thriving and that you were a good mother, and the peace that you never feel.
That’s what it feels like to be content, to not feel like you have to do anything. That’s the difference between being content and being content. And it’s not just a few of us who feel this way. Even as recently as two years ago, a Pew study found that a quarter of Americans felt as though they were truly content. That’s quite a number from a population that’s already known to be content.
In the same study, Pew concluded that more than half of all Americans were now content. In fact, Pew estimates that nearly one in four Americans is now content. A Pew study that comes a year after a study in the same organization found that the same percentage of Americans felt that they were either content, completely satisfied, or at least happy.
This survey is one of the few that have actually asked Americans about their actual content, not just their satisfaction or happiness. It was also one of the few that got a majority response.
It may not be a coincidence that Pew found that a sizable number of Americans felt satisfied and content. That may be a sign that the American people are increasingly content and are no longer bored. The study also found that a majority of these satisfied people live alone. This is not good news for the status quo.

Sandi is a Canadian-born, London-based singer and songwriter who is also the mastermind behind the experimental electro-pop project Sandi Tunes. Sandi’s music and lyrics are both about the human condition, both about being happy and content. The song, “Someday,” is about realizing your true nature (it’s actually the last part of her song, “Someday” that got me thinking about my own life).
The song itself is a bit of a disappointment to me. I’m not sure why it’s been so good to hear it. It’s not that the lyrics have been poor or anything. It’s that the lyrics are a bit like the lyrics in the original song.
Another part of the song’s lyrics remind me of the old 80s sitcom, “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.” The song is a bit of a callback to that, and the last stanza about “I remember the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air playing in the back of my mind.” The only problem being, my memories of the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air in the back of my mind were pretty limited. Anyways, my point is, the music is awesome.
The song is about a young man who tries to forget his past, but he’s still stuck in the past, literally. The last stanza that I heard is, “I’m lost in the past. No one’s looking for me. I’m lost in the past. I’ll never find the right path.” It’s about making a choice in life, and that choice becomes a road that leads to the past.
