I have a confession to make. I have been a huge fan of the ravanan (pronounced “ravanaan”) song since I was a teenager. The beautiful tune has been a constant companion in my life throughout my entire life. I am a huge fan of the lyrics and the story, and I have been able to relate to the characters in the song so well. This song, one of my favorites, is actually a song about me.
The song is about a young man whose parents die in a plane crash, his only friend, and his only source of information is a ravanan radio station he listens to. He ends up being the only person who is able to discover a way to get the answers he seeks. I don’t know why or how, but it’s a beautiful song, and I have listened to it over and over again.
I listened to this song back in college, I have been listening to it now for over a year, and its still one of my favorites. I think its because its so universal and relatable.
