As it turns out, the food bank only feeds people in the puyallup region of Washington State. It is also currently staffed with people from Oregon.

The puyallup region is a high income region of the Puget Sound region, so it’s quite likely that the food bank serves mostly working families out of state. This fact does give the puyallup food bank a nice diversity, but it doesn’t mean it’s a good organization. They do have a lot of people working at the food bank who are also volunteers, and many of them are also working at the local food bank.

The food bank is not a very good place to go if you’re suffering from financial hardship because it doesn’t have a lot of money to give out.
