Every time I walk in to a room and see food, I feel a sense of joy. I love this feeling and think it is one of the most important feelings in life.

I’m not saying I love food. In the words of our very own Jeff Bezos, “You don’t love food, you’re just not hungry.

Food is my favorite feeling, but I think we should all be equally fond of food. There is a big difference between sitting around and eating and eating and talking with people. The joy that comes from eating, talking, and a good conversation is far superior to the feeling that comes from eating and talking.

I’ve always found it hard to explain to people why I love food. I say I love food because it is the only thing that brings me joy. Yet I feel this is a huge mistake because it means I have to love food. It means that I have to love food because I’m already missing the joy. Food is the only thing that brings me joy, but there are so many other things I love.

Now it seems as though we’re not going to have a lot of joy when we’re stuck eating the same food over and over. We’re going to have to learn to like different foods to get our joy. I found a great blog for that: www.foodfrenzy.

In fact, for many of us food is a major source of pleasure. For those of us that don’t like meat, cooking meat is a major source of pleasure. For those of us that like pork chops, we can’t find a good way to eat pork chops that will make us happy. We’ve had plenty of success in making our own meals that are tasty and healthy.
