In the end, I hated every minute of training. The training itself was a fun ritual because it gave me the feeling of accomplishment. The last 10 minutes before the actual race, I was so energized that I couldn’t stand it for the rest of the evening.

So what are you going to do about it? Of course, the answer isn’t to just go and get a new job and a new house. You need to change the way you train. You need to change your training regimen. You need to take the time to do more than just work out. And you need to do it without giving up on yourself. The gym is supposed to help you be stronger and more agile.
