As with most web tools, Google Sheets has a text wrapping feature which is a very powerful tool that makes it possible to make really long texts look pretty. One of the best examples is the “long text” tool in Google Sheets. When you click on it, it will display you a list of all the words or phrases you have on the page and allow you to pick the first or last word or phrase to wrap.
Text wraps can be useful in text boxes, so it’s nice that you can also use them to make the text look pretty on your own web page.
I’m sure it’s hard to find a good example of what this tool does. I’ve seen it work a few times and then it just seems like it is just wasting your time. It’s not that we are lazy, it’s just that we are so used to text that it just doesn’t need much work.
Yes, its a bit annoying that you can’t use it on your own website. But if you are a person with your own website, you should be able to use it on your own web page. Its not going to take a lot of time to create a page with a lot of text and a few buttons and text boxes.
It’s nice to see google do something interesting in the way of text auto-wrap. Google is trying to do something useful, but it’s a bit hit and miss at times. But it’s definitely worth a shot. In my experience the results get much better when you’re willing to go into the text and remove the extra formatting. Its much easier to read without the extra space.
