It’s a stealth game where you are trying to take out eight Visionaries who are locked into a repeating day so they can get drunk and piss about for eternity. But if you have an irrational fear of the supernatural, or can’t quite bring yourself to believe in the existence of these Visionaries, then you need to stop playing Deathloop. The developers have assured us that this is not a game where you have to kill people who are trying to kill you, because your goal is not merely to kill them but to stop them from killing you.
