I’ve been so bad at keeping up with my daily fitness routine that I’ve had to jump into the gym for a workout twice a week and jump back out again. It’s hard to get motivated to work out if you can’t keep up as you should, so I’m working on it.
One of the things Ive learned about fitness is that it takes a lot of discipline. My cardio routine usually consists of a little bit of walking and a lot of jumping around. I feel like I should be doing these things more, but I just can’t seem to get motivated enough to do them. This is why Ive been so bad at my routine. I should be doing more cardio, but I just never have the time.
It is the same for so many things that we do. Like walking, we should be doing more, but we just cant seem to find the motivation. We need to be working on ourselves. If we are not, we won’t be motivated to do the things we should, so we have to work on ourselves. If you want to know my secret, it is that I am the least motivated person you will ever see.
I know I am guilty of the same thing, but I’m working on it. I am currently working with Fitocracy, a site where you can track your daily movements and see how much you’ve been working out. I work on my morning runs by eating a bowl of blueberries and drinking a cup of coffee. That way I can see how much I’ve been doing and I don’t have to guess.
I should probably be working out more because I am more motivated by the fact that I am a gym rat because I feel the need to improve myself. I have to be careful though because a lot of the exercises are really just stretching, and I have to keep my back straight while doing them.
I do a fair amount of Pilates. I have an old dumbbell machine in my home that I use to do a lot of the stretches that I do with my legs. I dont do any actual yoga, but i do sit-ups, crunches, and other forms of core work. I think I have about 4,000 sit-ups and 50 crunches in my workout program. Thats a lot of core work.
I don’t even know when I started doing yoga. I dont know that I do it nearly as often as I should. As I learned to stretch over time I got the chance to do a number of different poses. I think I had about 500 sit-ups in my first yoga class. I might have done more. I can’t remember which class it was. I don’t do it anymore though. I think it was my first yoga class.
I think that part of the reason why I’ve been trying to exercise more, especially since I started doing yoga, is because of all the core work I can do. I think it has helped me work up some patience, which is something I’ve always struggled with. I mean, I do it regularly, like 3-4 times a week. But I also do it for a good reason.
Not so much for the core work, but for the patience. There’s a lot of mental and physical endurance to do it, so if you are able to do it a few times, you can do it a lot more often. For example, I do it several times a week, and can do it a lot more often. I also keep up with the other benefits of regular exercise, like lower blood pressure, better cardiovascular fitness, and general muscle tone.
I don’t do it for the core work or the fitness benefits, but for the mental endurance. It’s the same reason I have to do it in the morning, I can’t get motivated to exercise without it. I don’t know if it’s the time commitment, or the fact that I am constantly asking myself questions like, “How can I get more fit?” or “I’d like to get a little more lean and toned.
