This quote from a recent post by chris hemsworth, in which he talks about how we’ve become so conditioned and even addicted to our phones that we don’t have to pause and think about our actions, is a good way to describe the effect of technology on our lives. He tells us that technology has become so ubiquitous that we don’t have time to stop and think about our actions.
The problem is that we are so busy using our phones and tablets that we dont have time to stop and think about our actions. We have all become so conditioned to the ease of use of our gadgets that we don’t think about the reasons for our actions. We don’t need to think about whether the fact that we have our phone on a charger is a good thing or not, or if we should be using it a different way.
We can turn on those screens and feel like we are doing something productive, but we cant stop and think about whether we are doing something productive. And when we are doing something productive, we have no idea if it was a good idea or not. We are so distracted with our technology that we forget to stop and think about our actions. There is no excuse not to think about your actions. Whether it is killing someone or doing something productive, stop and think.
There’s a reason we put a time limit on most things. It protects us from our own lack of self-awareness. Think about something that you do daily and stop. Then, when you’re done, think about the things you did.
I think the most important thing is simply to stop and think about your actions, but also take time to reflect on the things you did. To do the latter, you need to get out of the habit of thinking about yourself. To do the former, you need to practice self-awareness and thinking about yourself.
It’s important to realize that we’re always doing something that we’ve stopped doing. We’ve stopped doing things like working out, eating healthier, and even buying or renting a new pair of shoes. But there are a number of things that we may still be doing that we haven’t stopped doing but we’re not aware of it. Take a look at your own habits and routines, and make sure to notice the things that you’re doing that you’ve stopped doing.
When you start to look for other ways to do what youve been doing, make sure you ask yourself if youve stopped doing those things. Then take note of the things you are doing that youve stopped doing. And notice how they are making you feel better and how you can improve them in the future.
Sometimes this is hard to see, but we are only as good as our habits. If you can see how habits are making you feel better, you may be able to change them. This may sound like a cliché, but habits can always be improved on.
