Eating a meal on the internet has never been easier. The only reason it took so long is because your brain has been taken out and you’re stuck.
It’s hard to believe what a difference a few weeks can make. Since the beginning of October we’ve had a new website up and running for Food Medford. We’ve been in a state of constant growth, which means we’ve been getting a lot more visitors, but we’ve also had more work to do. Today, the first day of operation, we’ve gotten to the point where we can actually see what our website is doing.
The main reason that weve been able to get here is because of the new site, so weve been getting more visitors, but weve also had more work to do. It was clear that the site was not up to the task of fixing the problems that were plaguing the site. In fact, the main reason weve been able to get here is that our website has been getting a lot of traffic from our site, which is so much more than we could ever think of.
The site is still not up to its previous standards, for example, our content is still being broken into too many parts and not easily linked into, and all of our images are simply not clickable. But that is the point, the site is not up to current standards. Weve made a lot of progress on the site, but have a long way to go.
We have a lot of work ahead of us to make it as easy to use as possible. That is, in a way, our focus right now. A lot of the code is still being worked on, and we have spent the last month or so adding more categories, pages, and features to the site.
You can use the site to find out about current events, or see what is going on in your community, or even just browse and see what other people are up to. We have a lot of cool new features planned for the site in the coming months. Please join us by clicking the link in the description.
The site is basically a “cafe,” where people can share their thoughts and ideas about food. It is also a place where we will be posting a lot of new content in the coming months.
