I am a huge fan of Filipino food. I have been all around the Philippines, and I have been to Vegas and Las Vegas. I have even spent some time in the city of Cebu where I spent a month in the Philippines. In both cities, Filipino food is one of the most authentic, flavorful, and mouth-watering dishes I have ever had.
Filipino food in Cebu is much more authentic than it is in Las Vegas. In Las Vegas, Filipino food is often not made in a place that’s known for being authentic, and then it’s made over in a different country and with different ingredients. In Cebu, Filipino food is made right here in the Philippines.
Manila is often compared to Las Vegas. I think that’s fair because the same ingredients are used in both locations but Manila is a much more authentic city. While Las Vegas is a city that many tourists come to see, Manila is a city that many Filipinos come to live in. The city of Manila is a city where all of the residents want the same things: to be able to eat food that they are as comfortable with as they are in their own homes.
